Dave Smyth is an improvising drummer based in London. He has performed extensively throughout the UK as a member of various bands across a wide range of genres, ranging from jazz quartets to the promotion of charting pop/rock singles. He runs his own quartet as well as leading and writing for the Timecraft Octet.

Dave currently teaches drum kit at the University of York and is currently studying for an MA in Jazz Percussion at the Royal Academy of Music.
